RAG Member: Miles Watson
A new mural has been installed at Clarendon Road on Lancaster West Estate, dedicated to residents of the estate after the Grenfell Tower fire. Urban Eye linked up with the Rugby Portobello Trust youth project to run after-school design workshops to create textures and forms for the artwork. The project which was delayed for over a year by the Covid pandemic was finally completed in June 2021. The mural was funded by National Lottery Awards. RAG member Miles Watson was lead artist on the project and is the founder of Urban Eye which is based on the estate.
