Aude Grasset
A native of France, Aude started painting professionally after a career at leading advertising agencies in New York and London.
Her paintings explore the fragility and transience of life, the impermanence of anything material, the constant transformation of matter into other matter, and the invasion of natural habitats by galloping urbanisation. She often paints on boards which she cuts in a variety of shapes to help create 3D effects.
Five of Aude’s paintings have been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and 2 were exhibited and sold there. She has also been shortlisted 3 times for the Art Gemini Prize. In addition, Aude has shown and sold her work at the Affordable Art Fair in London and Paris, and at various galleries in London, Dorset, Paris, Spain and Beijing.
She is the daughter of artist Diane de Montbron. Aude also trained as a professional paint effects decorative painter at Kensington & Chelsea college.
