PULL FOCUS, THE EXHIBITION curated by Katharine Meynell (click here for more), with work selected from 33 current members. The show spans past and present eras and has a cohesive yet personal vision, bringing together the individual practices of the artists to reflect the group’s evolving identity. Click here for a list of works with artists’ statements.

AN ARCHIVE WALL in the window gallery creates the group’s journey from an informal association formed at Riverside Studios in 1986 to its established position today. In 2026 RAG returns, once again, to exhibit at the recently redeveloped Riverside Studios. In the corridor opposite the Archive Wall, black and white portraits of past and present members are displayed and, on the opposite wall, there are selected writings of memories. Many of these elements will be compiled into a future publication.

Original abstract paintings by founder member Colette Morey de Morand (d.2022) are also exhibited and can be seen in the carousel below.

TRACING THE RIVER, featured rare footage from the group’s 1988 trip to Russia as well as the 1996 New Labour exhibition. It premiered to a packed auditorium and rapturous applause, after a selection of seven art films by members of the group. Click here to watch the film on YouTube.
