PULL FOCUS brings 40 years of the Riverside Artists Group (RAG), unique among London art groups, into sharper clarity. We present a celebratory, curated exhibition of artworks, memorabilia and films.
THE EXHIBITION, curated by Katharine Meynell, with work selected from 33 current members to make a show that spans past and present eras. A cohesive yet personal vision draws together the individual practices into a shared visual interaction and reflects the group’s evolving identity. AN ARCHIVE WALL with memorabilia creates 40 years of the group’s journey. It shows its formation in 1986 from an informal association of West London artists at Riverside Studios, to its established position today. The artefacts, taken from original documents, photographs and written memories, depict an inventive and supportive art group which, once again, returns to exhibit at the recently redeveloped Riverside Studios. Original paintings by founder member Colette Morey de Morand (d. 2022) also on display.

FILM PREMIERE of TRACING THE RIVER, features rare footage from the group’s 1988 trip to Russia. It will premiere alongside a selection of art films by members of the group. Don’t miss this event!
